Author Bio

Jennifer David Hesse is the author of Midsummer Night’s Mischief, Book #1 in the Wiccan Wheel Mysteries, published by Kensington Books. Born and raised in Mattoon, Jennifer is a 1989 graduate of Mattoon High School and a 1993 graduate of Eastern Illinois University, where she majored in English and minored in Pre-Law. She went on to earn her law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, then practiced law in New York for eight years before moving back to Illinois to work as an environmental lawyer for the City of Chicago. Jennifer now makes her home in Chicago with her husband, guitarist Scott Hesse, and their daughter, Sage. When she’s not writing, Jennifer enjoys yoga, hiking, and movie night with her family.
